update:
i am training to run a half marathon with carrie kim (dalzen). i really need the training; my running is looking more than weak.
i just got called to be the personal progress adviser to the young women. quinn said he thought that was inspired. i feel kind of inspired. i never liked personal progress as a teenager, but i think if i had been working toward bigger goals it might have meant something more. last sunday i subbed in the nursery. the kids were wild. anastasia, who looks like a charlie brown character, kept jumping off the playhouse.
quinn teaches sunday school to the 10 year old boys. i really think he is such a great teacher. last night before we went to bed he told me about the best moments of his lesson and i cried. i must have forgotten how much of your adult self you already are at 10 years old.
i am not journaling regularly (and only blogging sporadically) but i am keeping a notebook of important things i come across. quotes, and websites to remember, and artists to look up. sometimes thoughts i don't want to forget. and lists of books to read.
i think this is healthy.
