William Howard Taft has always been my favorite president. He once said, "I must be honest with myself. I cannot be spectacular." In some ways, he wasn't. I find that likable.
The presidents fascinate me. Calvin Coolidge is my close second. I used to walk the Hall of the Presidents at the NPG. An old boss loved them, and I think her love became my love.
I started this post thinking about Taft because I'm reading a book thats rattling my brains: Patrick Rothfuss' The Name of the Wind. The more I read, the more I comprehend my own underwhelming mental capacities. There is so much to know. If I had one real wish it might be that I could read faster and remember longer.

I think your mental capacities are perfectly whelming.
